Epidemiology of pediatric COVID-19 in Mexico: a first sight.

INTRODUCCIÓN

In December 2019, a cluster of patients with pneumonia of unknown cause was linked to a seafood wholesale market in Wuhan, China. A new coronavirus was isolated and named 2019-nCoV.1 This virus causes the clinical disease known as COVID-19, and on 11 March WHO Director-General characterized COVID-19 as a pandemic. COVID 19 attacks humans of all ages, but predominantly adults. Although there is less information about the the pediatric population with respect to the adults' patients, we have important data from the largest epidemiological reports.
